Welcome internet adventurers!

You would not be here if you had not stumbled across my page or if I had not fed it down your throat. In all sincerity, this is simply a blog to give you a taste of what my budding music publicist career is like. I'll start you off with a rousing introduction of myself and my background, then proceed to the tantalizing details of what projects I'm currently involved in. Just for fun, I'll pepper it with introspective album/song/band reviews. I invite you to respond with praise, questions, complaints, arguments, suggestions, etc. For you reading pleasure, I introduce you to: Me, Myself, and I.

The Teeth

The high energy band transfers their zest for the chaotic through their premiere album, Give Our Regards to the Sun (2002) with tracks like "When Someone Hits You". All the while, simultaneously tickling the romantic edge with their bouncy and light tracks like "What Did You Say?" and "He Came From Another Dimension". There are other titles (i.e."Then He Said") that make you envision bright lights, disco balls, and a public transit. There's a fair mix of electronic with"extraterrestrial" sound effects like whistles and synthesizing, along with traditional rock instrumentation. Their vocalist, Dave Reminick , has the gruff, melancholy Thom York (vocalist of Radiohead) sound going on.

Over all, I'd give this album a B-. High score on originality in music, lyrics, and instrumentation. Lacking a bit on an overall consistent feel.
